Woolworths has lodged a Development Application with Maribyrnong City Council for a supermarket, speciality retail, a childcare and medical centre as well as commercial space and basement parking at 495–507 Barkly Street, West Footscray.

The centre proposes a vibrant program mix, including a supermarket, specialty retail, food and beverage, childcare, office space, medical centre and gymnasium.
The project
Our economic impact studies identify an undersupply of supermarkets within the local area, and the need to complement the existing smaller, convenience retail with a supermarket. We believe a Woolworths supermarket, supported by childcare facilities, medical services and commercial space will meet the needs of the community for a connected and vibrant space, now and into the future.

Around 270 car spaces across two basement levels
Commercial office space
5 direct to boot pick up bays
4-Star Green Star rating with initiatives including rainwater harvesting and solar panels
